For the 2024 MAPS Conference, we are excited to be partnering with Hilton at their NEW Spark by Hilton location right here in Mystic. This new “premium economy” lodging option opened in 2023, and has quickly become a consistent partner for our Museum. Since Mystic is a popular tourist destination in the summer season, hotels in this area typically have exorbitant prices from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Spark by Hilton has generously offered us a nightly rate of $179.00 plus tax for the nights of the conference (Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23).
The rooms at the hotel are being held for us using a “courtesy hold” which means that MAPS will not be held liable for unclaimed rooms. As a result of this, there is a 30-day cutoff for this special rate. Rooms must be booked no later than May 21, 2024 in order to secure the $179 nightly rate.

There are a number of alternative hotel options in the Mystic area, should you be interested in rewards/points at a different location. Within 1-2 miles of the Mystic Seaport Museum, you can find hotels by Hyatt, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Residence Inn, and others.
All conference events, including our banquet, will take place at the Mystic Seaport Museum. No conference events are currently planned to occur at the Spark by Hilton hotel.
