MAPS provides grant opportunities to financially support planetarians in the following endeavors:
- conducting research on the use and impact of planetariums in education
- scholarships for students working in a planetarium setting
- hosting fellow planetarians at Regional Meetings and/or IPS “week in the U.S.” programs
