Armand Spitz Regional Meetings
(Single day or 1/2 day conference / workshops)
MAPS encourages our membership to meet locally and sponsor an Armand Spitz Regional Meeting. Possible goals of these gatherings are to connect, network, and share techniques, lesson plans, and related technology with area colleagues.
Dates for Regional Meeting proposals can be chosen by the host institution, but Regional Meetings should not take place within 90 days (before or after) a MAPS Conference and Annual Meeting. National Conferences and IPS Conference dates should also be taken into consideration when proposing a Regional Meeting.
The Armand Spitz Mini Grant can provide funding (up to $200) to help host Armand Spitz Regional Meetings. Please contact a member of the Executive Committee for more information.
